Explorer Plugin

Explorer is contextual. It shows folder navigation results when a file manager or open/save dialog is active.

In File Explorer or Finder

Open Wox while the file manager is focused and type part of a child folder or file name:

Documents
Downloads
project

Select a folder to navigate there. Use the Action Panel when you want to reveal or open in a separate window.

In Open/Save Dialogs

Open Wox while a dialog is active to jump to useful folders:

• Folders already open in the file manager.
• Recently used folders for the active app.
• Common locations such as Desktop, Documents, and Downloads.

Notes

• Explorer results are intentionally quiet when no supported context is active.
• Windows and macOS have the richest support; Linux support depends on the desktop environment.
