and exit_restart functions in place so code that use those doesn't break.exit so you would end up with exit and
exit_advanced or something like that. That would be a bit weird. We'd get
into renaming functions, but that's still breaking changes.unsafe. I
personally am not that swayed by the argument of there being a problem if we
ever decide to extend the system call interface.
