Re-encode Video

Re-encode a video file with different resolution, frame rate, or container format using FFmpeg.

How to Use

  1. Open Video → Re-encode video...
  2. Select or confirm the input video file
  3. Set the output resolution (or use source resolution)
  4. Select the output frame rate
  5. Select the output container format (.mkv, .mp4, .webm)
  6. Click Generate to start re-encoding

Options

  • Resolution — Output video width and height
  • Use source resolution — Keep the original video resolution
  • Frame rate — Output frame rate
  • Video extension — Output container format
  • Prompt for FFmpeg parameters — Edit the FFmpeg command line before encoding

Batch Mode

Multiple re-encoding jobs can be queued for batch processing.
