Desktop support

The OpenProject mobile app is primarily designed for mobile devices (iOS and Android). We are actively working on improving support for desktop-sized usage, but there is currently no dedicated desktop application available for OpenProject Mobile.

Current desktop option (macOS)

At the moment, the only way to use the OpenProject mobile app on a desktop device is on macOS, via an App Store download that runs a scaled-up iPad version of the app.

Important notes:

• This is not a desktop-optimized experience.
• The app is designed for touch-first mobile/tablet usage, so desktop input (mouse/keyboard), layout expectations, and workflows may feel limited or inconsistent.
• For these reasons, this option should be used with caution, especially for daily production use on desktop devices.
