Review Work Context Mining

Verdict: PASS Confidence: HIGH Blocking issues: none

Sources Searched

  • Git history in /Users/yeongyu/local-workspaces/omo-wt/code-yeongyu-remove-codex-workflow-selector
  • GitHub PR metadata for PR #5745
  • Repo-wide reference search for OMO_CODEX_AUTO_WORKFLOW, selecting-lazycodex-workflow, workflow-selector, and workflow selector
  • Targeted doc and release-note search in docs/, .github/, README*, and CHANGELOG*
  • The surviving ultrawork legacy transcript fixture

Findings

  • PR #5745 is a clean runtime rollback of the opt-in workflow selector. The PR removes the workflow-selector component, unregisters user-prompt-submit-selecting-lazycodex-workflow, and drops OMO_CODEX_AUTO_WORKFLOW runtime wiring.
  • The feature came from PR #5540 / commit 1bb5dc596 (fix(omo-codex): add opt-in workflow selection guidance), then was isolated in follow-ups e222452b8 and ec8046b97 before being removed in 00eea4513.
  • No docs, changelog, or release-note files in the current tree still mention the workflow selector or OMO_CODEX_AUTO_WORKFLOW.
  • The only remaining <lazycodex-auto-workflow> string is test-only: packages/omo-codex/plugin/components/ultrawork/test/codex-hook-trigger-policy.test.ts keeps it as old transcript content to verify ultrawork behavior.
