NetworkX 2.6

Release date: 08 July 2021

Supports Python 3.7, 3.8, and 3.9.

This release has a larger than normal number of changes in preparation for the upcoming 3.0 release. The current plan is to release 2.7 near the end of summer and 3.0 in late 2021. See :doc:migration_guide_from_2.x_to_3.0 for more details.

NetworkX is a Python package for the creation, manipulation, and study of the structure, dynamics, and functions of complex networks.

Highlights

This release is the result of 11 months of work with over 363 pull requests by 91 contributors. Highlights include:
