Changes to WeChat Messaging Access

Since we launched WeChat messaging, many users have tried it and shared feedback with us. Thank you for your continued support.

We would like to share some context: WeChat messaging relies on an external message channel to send and receive messages. Because of that channel's communication mechanism, stability requirements, and ongoing operating costs, maintaining WeChat messaging over the long term costs significantly more than standard chat channels.

To keep the service stable and make WeChat messaging sustainable, we are making the following changes:

  • Users who have already connected WeChat can continue using it during the notice period.
  • The change is expected to take effect on July 10, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET. After that, creating a new WeChat connection or reconnecting WeChat will require a paid personal plan or a Pro / Business Workspace.
  • After the notice period ends, continuing to use an existing WeChat connection will also require a paid plan.

This change applies only to the WeChat message channel. It does not affect LobeHub chat, model usage, or other core features.

If you would like to keep using WeChat messaging, we recommend upgrading before the notice period ends. Thank you for your understanding and support.
