Overview

Infisical supports migrating resources from third-party secrets management platforms to Infisical. This is useful if you're looking to easily switch to Infisical and wish to move over your existing resources from a different platform.

Infisical offers two types of migration approaches:

  • In-Platform Migration Tooling: Connect to a supported platform (like Vault or Doppler) using an App Connection — either project-scoped (created inside a project) or organization-scoped (visible across every project). Import resources on demand from anywhere the App Connection is visible.

  • Bulk Data Import: Run a one-time, organization-wide import directly from raw platform credentials. This is ideal for an initial cutover when you're moving entirely to Infisical. Currently available for HashiCorp Vault.

Supported Platforms

In-platform migration (per-platform guides)

  • Vault — KV secrets, Kubernetes auth and dynamic secret shapes, policy translation
  • Doppler — secrets from Doppler projects and configs (root and branch)

Bulk one-shot organization import
