FastDFS Prometheus Exporter

Prometheus exporter for FastDFS that exposes metrics for monitoring storage capacity, performance and health. This exporter supports HTTP basic authorization. More detail please see the exporter config file

Metrics Exposed

• Storage capacity and usage - Total/free space per group and storage server
• Upload/download rates - Operation counts and bytes transferred
• Connection counts - Current and maximum connections
• Error rates - Failed operations (calculated from total vs success)
• Sync status and delays - Sync bytes and heartbeat delays
• Disk I/O statistics - Operation counts (upload, download, delete, append, modify)
• Network throughput - Bytes uploaded/downloaded

Prerequisites

• gcc >= 4.7.0
• libfastcommon (/usr/lib64/libfastcommon.so)
• libserverframe (/usr/lib64/libserverframe.so)
• FastDFS client library (/usr/lib64/libfdfsclient.so)

Build

make

Usage

./fdfs_exporter -h

• Default port: 9898
• Metrics endpoint: http://localhost:9898/metrics

Examples:

./fdfs_exporter -f /etc/fdfs/client.conf -P 9898
./fdfs_exporter -c exporter.conf

Prometheus Configuration
