DataViewBase.SearchDelay Property

Gets or sets the amount of time in milliseconds, after which a data search is initiated (in an automatic find mode). This is a dependency property.

When using the Search Panel, use the DataViewBase.SearchPanelFindMode property to specify whether a data search is initiated automatically or must be started manually by clicking the Find button or pressing Enter.

In automatic search mode, a search starts after an end-user has stopped typing text, after the delay specified by the SearchDelay property.
