LookUpEditBase.BeginDataUpdate() Method

Prevents visual and internal data updates until the LookUpEditBase.EndDataUpdate method is called.

Namespace : DevExpress.Xpf.Editors

Assembly : DevExpress.Xpf.Core.v25.2.dll

NuGet Package : DevExpress.Wpf.Core

Declaration

csharp
public void BeginDataUpdate()
vb
Public Sub BeginDataUpdate

Remarks

To prevent internal data updates, use the BeginDataUpdate and LookUpEditBase.EndDataUpdate methods.

If the code that performs a sequence of data operations is wrapped with the BeginDataUpdate and LookUpEditBase.EndDataUpdate methods, the lookup editor performs only a single data update reflecting all changes made after the LookUpEditBase.EndDataUpdate method is called.

The following code snippet (auto-collected from DevExpress Examples) contains a reference to the BeginDataUpdate() method.
