You can specify captions for items via the BaseLayoutItem.Caption property.
For LayoutControlItem objects, captions are always visible. You can hide them via the ShowCaption property, if required.
To display captions for LayoutGroup objects, set the ShowCaption property to True and the LayoutGroup.GroupBorderStyle property to Group or GroupBox.
