DiagramControl.AllowEditItems Property

Gets or sets whether to allow the end-user to enter the text editing mode. This is a dependency property.

Namespace : DevExpress.Xpf.Diagram

Assembly : DevExpress.Xpf.Diagram.v25.2.dll

NuGet Package : DevExpress.Wpf.Diagram

Declaration

csharp
public bool? AllowEditItems { get; set; }
vb
Public Property AllowEditItems As Boolean?

Property Value

TypeDescription
Nullable<Boolean>

true to allow the end-user to enter the text editing mode; otherwise, false.

|

Remarks

Setting the AllowEditItems property to false doesn’t prevent the end-user from editing an item text in the Properties Panel.

You can restrict end-user operations by setting the DiagramControl.IsReadOnly property to true. Setting the desired diagram protection options (listed in the DiagramControl.IsReadOnly property’s description) to true overrides the IsReadOnly property.
