Remarks

You can use the following time-span options to specify the TimeSpanScaleOptions property:

AutomaticTimeSpanScaleOptions - the scale measurement unit is automatically calculated. The automatic aggregation is enabled. You can change an AutomaticTimeSpanScaleOptions.AggregateFunction.
ContinuousTimeSpanScaleOptions - the axis scale is not divided into intervals. For this reason, aggregation cannot be applied.
ManualTimeSpanScaleOptions - the axis scale is divided into intervals specified by the ManualTimeSpanScaleOptions.MeasureUnit. You can aggregate data.

Example

The following example shows how to group minute-by-minute data into data points with a greater measurement unit (“Hour”).

Use the ManualTimeSpanScaleOptions.MeasureUnit property to specify the measurement unit that should be greater than the initial data measurement unit.
To change an arithmetic function used for computing point aggregates, use ManualTimeSpanScaleOptions.AggregateFunction.
Optionally, you can specify the ManualTimeSpanScaleOptions.GridAlignment, ManualTimeSpanScaleOptions.GridSpacing, and ManualTimeSpanScaleOptions.GridOffset properties.
