Unbound Data Source

The Items Source Configuration Wizard allows you to bind the PivotGridControl to custom unbound data using the UnboundDataSource component. See the UnboundDataSource topic for more information.

After you have connected to the Unbound Data Source, you can use the Retrieve Fields command to retrieve the data source fields. To retrieve fields in code, use the PivotGridControl.RetrieveFields method.
