ColumnView.IsEmpty Property

Determines whether a View contains any rows.

Remarks

Views may have no rows in the following cases:

  • the bound data source doesn’t have any records;
  • filtering is applied to a View and no row meets the specified filter condition(s).

Note

Detail pattern Views do not contain data and they are never displayed within XtraGrid. So, the IsEmpty member must not be invoked for these Views. The IsEmpty member can only be used with Views that display real data within the Grid Control. Use the following methods to access these Views with which an end user interacts at runtime.
