ToastNotificationsManager.TryCreateApplicationShortcut() Method

Tests whether or not a Start Screen application shortcut with the current ToastNotificationsManager.ApplicationIconPath and ToastNotificationsManager.ApplicationName property values can be created.

To create an application shortcut that will be placed onto the Windows 8 Start Screen, you need to set an icon and text for this shortcut. This content can be set by using the ToastNotificationsManager.ApplicationIconPath and ToastNotificationsManager.ApplicationName properties. By default, the shortcut will be automatically created if the ToastNotificationsManager.CreateApplicationShortcut property equals DefaultBoolean.True.
