Symbol Dialog

The Symbol dialog allows end-users to insert symbols and special characters, such as Unicode characters, fractions (¼), currency symbols (£, €), ellipsis (…), trademark symbols (®, ™), paragraph mark (¶), etc.

To provide end-users with the capability to invoke the Symbol dialog, create a Symbols group within the Ribbon UI’s Insert tab. For an example on how to provide a Ribbon UI, refer to the Getting Started document.
