Map Area

The Map Area is a key element of Map control. It is represented by a rectangle that displays map images and vector elements from all Layers contained in a Map Control.

All other visual elements (e.g., Navigation Panel) are painted above the Map Area.

The following image demonstrates the Map Area without any other visual elements.
