Remarks

Use this property to enable and disable content protection in the Spreadsheet and Report Designer controls. The Protected property corresponds to the “Protect worksheet and contents of locked cells” and “Structure” checkboxes in the Protect Sheet and Protect Structure dialogs, respectively:

Enabling the worksheet or document structure protection by setting the Protected property to True does not enforce the password protection. To specify a protection password, use the ProtectionInfo property.

Note

In the case of the spreadsheet document structure, the Protected property is equivalent to the OptionsBehavior.Protected property of the Spreadsheet and Report Designer controls.

The default Protected property value is False.
