This dialog allows you to customize a recurrence pattern that defines a recurring task‘s behavior.
Note
Recurring task duration depends on the number of task recurrences.
Right-click an empty row in the Task View’s sheet and select “Insert Recurring Task…” in the context menu to invoke the dialog.
A recurrence pattern defines the task repetition frequency in VCL Gantt Control.
You can choose one of the following pattern types:
This pattern specifies if the task repeats after the specified number of days (from Sunday to Saturday) or workdays (depending on the calendar assigned to the control).
This pattern allows you to schedule the task repetition on one or more specified days on a weekly basis.
You should select at least one day to repeat a task; otherwise, the following warning appears:
This pattern allows you to schedule the task once on a monthly basis.

Use this pattern to repeat the task once on a yearly basis.

On the same day and month every year. You should specify a month and day of the month to repeat the task.
On the same day of the week in the same relative position in a specific month. You should select a day’s ordinal number, day of the week, and month to repeat the task.
In this pane, you can specify when a recurring task starts and choose whether the task ceases to repeat after the specified number of occurrences, or depending on the date and time of the last task in the recurring task chain.
You can specify which calendar to use in task recurrence calculation. You can create a custom calendar or choose one of the following calendars:
