The DevExpress spell checker (the TdxSpellChecker component) supports the ExpressRichEdit Control and the following ExpressEditors providing a text input field:

• TcxCalcEdit and TcxDBCalcEdit;

• TcxCheckComboBox and TcxDBCheckComboBox;

• TcxColorComboBox and TcxDBColorComboBox;

• TcxComboBox and TcxDBComboBox;

• TcxCurrencyEdit and TcxDBCurrencyEdit;

• TcxDateEdit and TcxDBDateEdit;

• TcxFontNameComboBox and TcxDBFontNameComboBox;

• TcxHyperlinkEdit and TcxDBHyperlinkEdit;

• TcxImageComboBox and TcxDBImageComboBox;

• TcxLookupComboBox and TcxDBLookupComboBox;

• TcxMaskEdit and TcxDBMaskEdit;

• TcxMemo and TcxDBMemo;

You can manually perform spell checking by passing an arbitrary string or an instance of the TWinControl class descendant to the spell checker’s Check or CheckContainer procedures, respectively.
