Provides settings for free positioning of annotation objects.
Namespace : DevExpress.XtraCharts
Assembly : DevExpress.XtraCharts.v25.2.dll
NuGet Package : DevExpress.Charts
public class FreePosition :
AnnotationShapePosition
Public Class FreePosition
Inherits AnnotationShapePosition
If the Annotation.ShapePosition property is set to the FreePosition type, you can specify a parent element for the annotation’s shape (via the FreePosition.DockTarget property), and choose the corner where the annotation is docked (FreePosition.DockCorner).
In addition, you can specify the indents from the annotation and its dock target element (chart or pane), via the FreePosition.InnerIndents and FreePosition.OuterIndents properties, whose values are summarized.
For more information, refer to Annotations.
The following example demonstrates how to create text and image annotations and anchor them to a chart, its pane, and a series point.
