files/en-us/mozilla/add-ons/webextensions/api/bookmarks/onremoved/index.md

latest3.6 KB
Original Source

Fired when a bookmark or folder is removed. When a folder is removed recursively, a single notification is fired for the folder, and none for its contents.

Syntax

js-nolint
browser.bookmarks.onRemoved.addListener(listener)
browser.bookmarks.onRemoved.removeListener(listener)
browser.bookmarks.onRemoved.hasListener(listener)

Events have three functions:

  • addListener(listener)
    • : Adds a listener to this event.
  • removeListener(listener)
    • : Stop listening to this event. The listener argument is the listener to remove.
  • hasListener(listener)
    • : Check whether listener is registered for this event. Returns true if it is listening, false otherwise.
