fj pr checkout 42 should do something useful when not on a branch, like gh does.
It fails with the error:
Error: no repo info specified

As the quality of error messages needs improvement overall in forgejo-cli, I've created #448 to track it all in one place. As such, I'm going to close this issue in favor of that one. Thank you for reporting this!

This is not about error messages. That command should do something, not fail. Maybe ask me which repo I meant (out of the existing remotes), maybe remember my answer as the default upstream repo, something.

I've thought before of a way for the user to set a "default remote", which it can use when it can't otherwise figure it out. I imagine that would solve this?
