There's no support for host like hostname.whatever/path/ : the /path part seems to be not supported.
What I tried to assume that:
fj --host smth.smth/code/ auth add-key Nickname keykeykey...key ( works )
fj auth login (fails, smth like "no key found").
in ~/.local/share/forgejo-cli/keys.json the /code/ part seems to disappear. If append the /code/ there, login still fails, but in another way:
Your installation of fj doesn't support `login` for smth.smth/code
Please visit https://smth.smth/code/user/settings/applications
to create a token, and use it to log in with `fj auth add-key`
fj is current git version.

fj auth login requires adding it as an app on that forgejo instance, so it's only supported by default on a few select public ones. That message is expected behavior, logging in with fj auth add-key is the intended method on other instances.
However, you are right that it should be including the /path/ part in the key file.

Do we know of any public instance that's hosted at a subpath like this? It might be handy to have one to test against.
