Here is our (@dmowitz, @patdyn, @jerger) understanding of the process described in ForgeFed: https://codeberg.org/meissa/fork-repo-usecase-variants/src/branch/main/usecase_fork_initiated_by_local_dmowitz.md

Maybe the details of messages exchanged between local and distant server is described here better: https://codeberg.org/meissa/fork-repo-usecase-variants/src/branch/main/usecase_fork_initiated_by_local.md

The important questions to be discussed here is:

  1. Do we understand the ForgeFed process correctly (roughly which part belongs to local and wich ones belongs to distant) ?
  2. How can we consolidate the Forgejo ideas with ForgeFed spec?
