Always prioritize papers based on citation count, venue quality, and author reputation:

Citation Count Thresholds:

Venue Quality Tiers:

  • Tier 1 (Prefer): Nature, Science, Cell, NEJM, Lancet, JAMA, PNAS

  • Tier 3 (Good): Specialized journals (IF 5-10)
