Welcome to the Azul GUI Framework blog! This is our first post where we'll share updates, tutorials, and news about the project.

What is Azul?

Azul is a cross-platform MIT-licensed Desktop GUI framework for C, C++, Python and Rust, using the Mozilla WebRender rendering engine. It focuses on:

• Performance: GPU-accelerated rendering with WebRender
• Simplicity: DOM-based layout with CSS styling
• Cross-platform: Works on Windows, macOS, and Linux
• Multi-language: Bindings for C, C++, Python, and native Rust support
