cookbook/05_agent_os/studio_tool/TEST_LOG.md
Last run: 2026-06-11 with
.venv/bin/python(demo venv not present in this workspace).
Status: PASS
Description: Standalone StudioTool agent backed by local SQLite persistence with versions=True. The agent created the math-tutor agent (published v1), edited it (draft v2), listed both versions, and published the draft to current.
Result: Full create -> edit -> list_versions -> publish lifecycle completed successfully.
Status: PASS (smoke test)
Description: AgentOS Studio example with registry primitives, code-defined agents, and StudioTool component CRUD/versioning. Verified by importing the module: the FastAPI app builds (107 routes, /agents present), enable_versions is True, and publish_component is registered on the studio toolkit.
Result: App construction and tool registration verified. Interactive Studio UI flow not exercised.
Status: PASS
Description: Human-in-the-loop studio agent on the console. Sent the underspecified request "Create an agent called 'research-buddy'". The agent paused via ask_user with a multi-select question listing the registry tool names, paused via get_user_input for free-text instructions, then paused for create_agent confirmation showing the exact call args, and created the agent after approval.
Result: All three HITL pauses (user feedback + user input + confirmation) and continue_run resumption worked; agent research-buddy was created with the user-chosen hackers_news tool. Observed bonus behavior: when given an invalid tool name in an earlier run, the agent re-asked instead of guessing; when one create attempt used an invalid db_id, the agent corrected the args and re-requested confirmation.
Status: PASS
Description: Same HITL studio agent served through AgentOS. Verified the full API round-trip against a live server: POST /agents/studio-hitl-agent/runs with "Create an agent called 'os-buddy'." returned status PAUSED with the ask_user feedback schema (questions + options); POST .../continue with selected_options advanced to a get_user_input pause for instructions; the next continue advanced to the create_agent confirmation pause; confirming completed the run with status COMPLETED and the os-buddy agent created.
Result: All three pause types surface through the AgentOS API and the continue endpoint resumes each one correctly.
